Deutsch: Blick von der Klosterstraße auf das Neutor, Linz am Rhein. „Oben auf der Bach“, wie die Straße ursprünglich genannt wurde, trat der Mühlenbach durch eine vergitterte Öffnung in der Stadtmauer in die Stadt, trieb Loh- und Schleifmühlen an und floss dann durch einen offenen Kanal in der Straßenmitte weiter über den Buttermarkt und durch die Mühlengasse. Heute erinnern die weißen Steine im Straßenpflaster an den früheren Verlauf des Baches. |
