Foto: Kadri Paomees Mai esimeses pooles põhiliselt Pärnumaal, Läänemaal, Saaremaal, Hiiumaal ning Viljandimaal Mulgi vallas asset leidnud õppusel Kevadtorm osales ligi 14 000 Eesti ja liitlasriikide sõdurit. Tänavuse õppuse eesmärgiks oli harjutada diviisi ja liitlaste koostöös kaitsvate operatsioonide läbiviimist konventsionaalse sõja tingimustes, kaasates ka teised väeliigid ning väejuhatused. Peamisteks õppivateks üksusteks olid 2. jalaväebrigaad ning Lääne maakaitseringkond. |
