Description
English: A view of the sinking Japanese training cruiser Katori, taken from the battleship USS New Jersey (BB-52) during Operation Hailstone. After being crippled by USS Enterprise (CV-6) torpedo bombers, Katori was finished off by gunfire from the battleship USS Iowa (BB-61) and escorting cruisers.
