令和 2 年 2 月 20 日、巡視船「みやこ」が就役し、第十一管区海上保安本部 中城海上保安 部 に新たに配備されます。 同船は、平成 28 年 12 月の関係閣僚会議にて決定された「海上保安体制強化に関する方針」 を受け、尖閣領海警備体制の強化や大規模事案の同時発生に対応するため建造されました。 今後は、尖閣諸島をはじめとする沖縄周辺海域において、領海警備、海難救助、治安の確 保、海洋権益保全及び海洋環境保全といった多様な業務にあたってまいります。 |
