English: Irish Army infantry patrol in East Timor as part of the United Nations Transitional Administration in East Timor (UNTAET). In 2000, the Irish Army contribution to UNTAET were four month rotations from firstly the Army Ranger Wing (2nd IRCON), followed by the 2nd Infantry Battalion (3rd IRCON) and the final rotation was from the 12th Infantry Battalion (4th IRCON).
