English: A New Zealand soldier assigned to Task Group Taji assists an Iraqi soldier assigned to the 71st Iraqi Army Brigade zero his M14 Enhanced Battle Rifle during a rifle range at Camp Taji, Iraq, Oct. 28, 2015. The soldier zeroed his rifle to ensure its accuracy and to become more familiar with the weapon. This is the base level of training before going into rifle marksmanship and sniper training. Snipers can be used to provide cover fire during assaults against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. Coalition subject matter experts are training inclusive Iraqi forces including Peshmerga and tribal volunteers at five sites in Iraq, to include Camp Taji, as part of Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve’s building capacity mission.
