| Description | "Rothesay" Class Type 12M Anti Submarine Frigate "HMS Londonderry", 2,150 tons, launched 1958, completed 1961. She is undertaking a major conversion to a weapons trials ship with the 4.5" gun turret removed, a helicopter pad fitted, and no less than three radar/electronic masts erected (instead of the one as built). At the Portsmouth Navy Day, 08/80. Scanned slide. |
