English: HMS 'Canada' Inscribed by the artist, 'Canada', lower right, this is a reasonably accurate starboard broadside study of the battleship 'Canada' (1913), as fitted in 1918 with an enlarged control top and aircraft platforms on B and X turrets. It is a sunset view of the ship in steam but either stationary or barely moving off a low and unidentifiable coastline. |
