English: Of note, the plaque in the foreground was dedicated to shipmates of the U.S.S. Boston in July 2001. Roughly two months later, the worst home soil terrorist attack in U.S. history would take place on September 11, 2001 in New York City. In the background across the mouth of the Charles River can be seen Custom House Tower and the spire of Old North Church.
