العربية: وُقِّع على وثيقة الاستسلام هذه بِتاريخ 7 أيَّار (مايو) 1945م، في مقر الفريق أوَّل دويت أيزنهاور في مدينة رانس بِفرنسا، من قِبل الفريق أوَّل ألفرد جودل، رئيس أركان الجيش الألماني. وفي الوقت نفسه، وقَّع الأخير على ثلاث وثائق استسلام أُخرى، واحد مُخصصة لِبريطانيا العُظمى، والثانية لِروسيا، والثالثة لِفرنسا.

English: This instrument of surrender was signed on May 7, 1945, at Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower's headquarters in Rheims by Gen. Alfred Jodl, Chief of Staff of the German Army. At the same time, he signed three other surrender documents, one each for Great Britain, Russia, and France.

Українська: Цей Акт капітуляції Німеччини був підписаний 7 травня 1945 року в штаб-квартирі генерала Дуайта Ейзенхауера в Реймсі (Франція) генералом Альфредом Йодлем, начальником штабу німецької армії. У той же час він підписав ще три екземпляри документу про капітуляцію - по одній для Великобританії, Росії та Франції.
