Summary

Description Toulon, France during the scuttling of the French Fleet on 27 November 1942, before the German Occupation. The ships from left to right are the sloops Chamois (1938-1944), L'Impeteuse (1940-1944), La Curieuse (1939-1944), Dedaigneuse (1916-c1944), Yser (1917, afloat), and the auxiliary minesweeper Roche Bleue (1919-c1944). Most were salvaged and served the Germans or Italians.
