English: Connu sous le nom de « Forte de Mil Regos », « Forte de Milreu » ou « Forte da Ericeira ».

Construit en 1670, c'est le dernier vestige des quelques forts construits à l'époque de la Restauration de l'Indépendance pour défendre

cette partie de la côte. Il était destiné à contrôler l'accès maritime à Ericeira par le secteur nord.
