English: Located at the tip of Point Frederick, Kingston, on the grounds of the Royal Military College, Fort Frederick is one of the 4 Martello Towers, a standard British fortification, built in Kingston between 1846 and 1848. Armed with 9 cannon, it protected the Royal Navy dockyard, and the entrance to the Rideau Canal. Today, it houses the Royal Military College Museum.
