Summary

Description This is Battery Hardman, one of three batteries that comprise Fort Baldwin located on a hill overlooking the Kennebec River in Phippsburg, Maine. Originally constructed in the early 1900's, this fort was active during WWI and WWII. It is not well preserved and no helpful information is provided. On the other hand I did not see any grafitti. The older Fort Popham is located just below on the Kennebec.
