Nederlands: Het dak van de hoofdgebouw aan de centrale binnenplaats. De schoorstenen en ventilatiekokers zijn duidelijk zichtbaar. Hier stonden schietbanken van de infanterie. Het dak was via een trap vanuit het gebouw te bereiken en er was verder een lift voor het transport van munitie. De dak lag 27 meter boven zeeniveau en de soldaten hadden rondom goed uitzicht op de omgeving. English: Op top of the roof of the main building. The chimneys and ventilation openings are visible. Standing on the roof, 27 meters above sea level, the soldiers had a good overview of the surroundings. |
