Summary

Description	English: A U.S. Navy Douglas AD-7 Skyraider (BuNo 142076) of Attack Squadron 96 (VA-96) in flight. VA-96 was assigned to Air Task Group 3 (ATG-3) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Kearsarge (CVA-33) for a deployment to the Western Pacific from 9 August 1957 to 2 April 1958. Note that the aircraft carries a Mark 7 nuclear bomb. 142076 was transferred to the U.S. Air Force in May 1968. It was written off following combat damage and a crash landing in March 1972 while being assigned to the 1st Special Operations Squadron.
