Description
English: A Vietnamese Air Force Douglas A-1E Skyraider (s/n 52-133860), circa in 1975. This aircraft was at the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposition Center at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona (USA) in 1971 after having been retired by the 4407th Combat Crew Training Squadron, U.S. Air Force, at Hurlburt Field, Florida (USA). It was later in service with the Vietnamese Air Force and escaped to Thailand in 1975. Note the Fairchild C-119 in the background.
