| Description | Die Schlacht bei Dornach; nach einem Holzschnitt eines unbekanntem Meister, Berlin, Kupferstichkabinet (vor 1915). Im Vordergrund die Birs, links oben Dorf und Burg Birseck, rechts Kirche und Dorf Dornach. In der Mitte sprengen die Panzerreiter Maximilians (Andreaskreuz) auf das schweizerische Fußvolk (Berner Bär). Oberhalb steht das kaiserliche Geschütz, welches Dornach unter Beschuss genommen hatte. Im Hintergrund bricht das Schweizer Ersatzheer (Schweizer Kreuz) hervor. Beim Dorf Birseck das Lager des Grafen Heinrich von Fürstenberg. |
