Summary
| Description |
English: Entrance to the submarine pens of El Espalmador Grande. Part of the unfinished project for a submarine base in Cartagena, the construction of these pens was started in 1945, and abandoned in 1956. Since then, the Spanish Navy has used them as a warehouse.
Español: Entrada a los diques subterráneos del Espalmador Grande. Parte del inacabado proyecto de una base de submarinos en Cartagena, la construcción de estos diques fue iniciada en 1945, y abandonada en 1956. Desde entonces, la Armada Española los ha empleado como almacén. |
