Die Schlacht von Dervenakia war womöglich die wichtigste Schlacht in der Revolution, da sie die Expedition auf Morea von Mahmud Dramali Pascha endgültig aufhielt und den Aufstand vor einem frühen Ende bewahrte.
English: Dimitris Plapoutas was a Greek general who fought in many important battles of the Greek Revolution. The Battle of Dervenakia was perhaps the most important battle in the revolution, as it finally stopped Mahmud Dramali Pasha's expedition to Morea and saved the uprising from an early end. |
