English: Image of two BN-2T-4S Defender 4000 Aircraft and a Gazelle AH.1 of 5 Regiment Army Air Corps, British Army at Aldergrove Flying Station, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland in 2013.

Defender can be deployed in utility transport, battlefield intelligence, frontline support, counterinsurgency, homeland security, casualty evacuation, maritime counterterrorism, coastal and border patrol and reconnaissance missions.

The aircraft can operate from short, unprepared runways in all weather conditions both day and night.
