Description The U.S. Navy deep sea rescue vehicle Avalon (DSRV-2) is hoised aboard the Royal Navy ballistic missile submarine HMS Repulse (S23) at HMNB FASLANE GARELOCH SCOTLAND, Scotland (UK), circa 1979. Repulse "rescued" the crew of HMS Odin (S10) during an exercise.
