English: U.S. Army Sgt. Lizeth Wakasa, a food service specialist assigned to Headquarters Company, 3rd Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team “Rakkasans,” 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), is promoted to sergeant by her husband U.S. Army Spc. David Wakasa, also a food service specialist with Headquarters, 3-187, at Combat Outpost Bowri Tana, Dec. 1, 2012. The Wakasas have taken every step of their military career together and have recently been selected to become part of the Pentagon’s special food staff.
