Im Hintergrund die Stadt Chur wie bei Merian 1642. Originale Beschriftung: «Belagerung und Abzug der Statt Chur und wie die Spaniſch und Oſterreichiſche im Prettigaw den i4 Aprilis 1622 ſeind angegriffen mit prüglen zu todt geſchlagen, und die übrigen verjagt worden. volgendts den 30. May haben auch die Bündtner die Schantz am Mittenberg nechst der ſtatt Chur erobert, darauf die Spanier gezwun gen deparlementieren und mit ihrem Obersten Balderon abzuziehen».
