Description
English: "Ch'un-Ch'iu Period, 722–481 B.C.", a map of the Eastern Zhou Kingdom during the Chunqiu Period or Spring and Autumn Period, with its divisions marked as they were understood in the 1930s. Inset maps of the State of Lu, the "Home of Confucius", and of "The Nine Economic Provinces according to the Chou-li with Corrections by A. Herrman“, another map of China divided into its notional Nine Provinces (九州, Jiuzhou).


Many barbarian groups noted, as are the dates and locations—but not names—of the major battles of Fenghao (771 BC), Chengpu (632 BC), and Bi (597 BC).
