Bilingual historical memorial sign (related to Siege 1532 /Kőszeg/ ) at the bridge before the Lower Castle. The campaign of Suleiman I against Vienna reached Kőszef in August 1532, Heavily outnumbered by Turks Miklós Jurisics managed to defend the castle Only a handful of his troops were regular soldier, desptite this Kőszeg was not captured by the Turks. The bells of Kőszeg toll every day 11 o clock to rememeber the success - Rajnis Street, Kőszeg, Vas County, Hungary.
