Description
Deutsch: Unter der Innenstadt von Dortmund befindet sich die größte zusammenhängende zivile Luftschutz-Anlage Deutschlands. Das über 4 km lange System aus Luftschutzstollen wurde konzipiert, um bis zu 40.000 Menschen bei Luftangriffen Schutz zu bieten. Die Anlage wurde zwischen 1941 und 1945 von Zwangsarbeitern/KZ-Häftlingen unter Anleitung bergmännischer Fachkräfte aufgefahren.
