Gefängnis für faschistische Handlungen
Wegen aktiver Beteiligung an faschistischen Handlungen und wegen Landfriedensbruch (Kontrollratsdirektive 38 und §125 des Strafgesetzbuches wurden vom Stadtgericht von Groß-Berlin die 33jährige Buchhalterin Ursula Riemer und der 26jährige Kraftfahrer Herbert Menzel zu drei bzw. zwei Jahren Gefängnis verurteilt. Die Angeklagten hatten am 17. Juni 1953 offene faschistische Propaganda getrieben und Provokateure veranlasst, vom Gebäude Friedrichstaße 167/168 eine rote Fahne der Arbeiterbewegung herunterzureißen und zu verbrennen.

Ubz.: Die Angeklagte mit ihrem Verteidiger. Während der Angeklagte den Provokateuren den Weg wies, vollführte die Angeklagte nach Zeugenaussagen einen wahren Freudentanz, als die rote Fahne von den Banditen angezündet wurde. Der Angeklagten war es gelungen, jahrelang unerkannt Mitglied der Partei der Arbeiterklasse zu sein, bis sie sich am 17. Juni 1953 selbst entlarvte.
