For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Der deutsche Kreuzer "Arcona" wird Wohnschiff! Der jetzt ausser Dienst gestellte deutsche Kreuzer "Arcona" der Reichsmarine wird auf der Marinewerft in Wilhelmshaven zum Wohnschiff umgebaut. Er soll in Kiel stationert werden. Der Kreuzer wurde 1902 erbaut und hat 2800 Tonnen. |
