Summary

Description

An "expensive" photo - in terms of the displayed hardware. The two active Nimitz-class carriers alone cost USD 4.5bln each. Taken from the Bremerton-Seattle ferry leaving Bremerton. Visible are (from the top left): 1. With the "76" on the island, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN-76) (active)
2. The island right of the Reagan belongs to USS Ranger (CV-61) (retired)
3. With the "68" on the island, USS Nimitz (CVN-68) (active)
4. Peeking out just behind the Nimitz on right, USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63) (reserve)
5. The hull off USS Long Beach (CGN-9) (retired)
Across the middle are 6 retired nuclear submarines, two on the left and four on the right. I can, however, only identify the respective first one of each group:
1. On the left with "671" on the sail, the USS Narwhal (SSN-671)

2. On the right, with 704 on the sail, the USS Baltimore (SSN-704)
