| Description |
On October 13, 1812, the Battle of Queenston Heights (Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario) ended in a decisive victory for the British forces. They captured 927 men, and killed or wounded about 500. This aquatint and etching on wove paper, laid down on cardboard, was published by J.W. Laird, in London, in 1836.
