English: Map of battle of Grocka, fought in 22 july 1739, describing the situation between Austrian Imperial army and the Ottoman forces from about 11 o'clock till 10 in the evening. Map was made by John Lindsay, 20th earl of Crawford, or illustrated after his description and appeared in his memoirs published in 1753 by his servant Henry Köpp. Description: Situation and Prospect of the Roman imperial and Turkish Armies throughout the rest of the Day; being from about Eleven of the Clock in the Morning till Ten at Night, When the Roman imperial Army retired to their former camp at Winscha". |
