Summary

Description Douglas A-4G and TA-4G Skyhawk of the Royal Australian Navy at the U.S. Navy Naval Air Station North Island, California (USA). The RAN received eight A-4Gs and two TA-4Gs in 1967. A second batch of 10 aircraft (eight refurbished A-4Fs and two refurbished TA-4Fs) were delivered in 1971. They were transported from NAS North Island to Australia by HMAS Sydney (R17), arriving in August 1971. The aircraft in front, USN BuNo 155069, became RAN No. "877" and was sold to New Zealand in July 1984.
