Ever since the Jet's first appearance in 1944, Ordnance designers have groped for an answer. A combination of research, design and engineering "know-how" brought forth the "Skysweeper", a one package 75MM AA Gun electronically combining radar, computer and director with the chassis and gun. Development, production and procurement of "Skysweeper" is a responsibility of the 138-year old Watertown Arsenal.; Date from item or accompanying material.
