Nederlands: Japanse soldaten in zomeruniform vallen Chinese soldaten aan met bajonetten. In het midden staat een net afgevuurd kanon. De overname van de stad Pyongyang vond plaats op 16 september 1894, tijdens de Eerste Chinees-Japanse Oorlog (1894-1895).
