Description
English: On 17 January 1967 the 168th Engineer Bn. (Combat) on Operation "Cedar Falls" approx [approximately] 27 miles north west of Saigon in the area known as the "Iron Triangle" clear Route #14 of dense jungle growth for 100 meters on each side to deprive the Viet Cong of cover and to establish landing zones for future Allied operations. A section of Route #14 cleared of jungle growth by the use of the Rome Plow attached to the HD-16 tractor. NARA 111-CCV-345-CC38063
