Summary

Description U.S. Navy Douglas A-4F Skyhawks being launched from the deck of the aircraft carrier USS Hancock (CVA-19) for a strike in Vietnam in 1969. The A-4F on the starboard catapult was assigned to Attack Squadron VA-55 War Horses, the one on the port catapult to VA-164 Ghost Riders. All squadrons were assigned to Attack Carrier Air Wing 21 (CVW-21) aboard the Hancock for a deployment to Vietnam from 2 August 1969 to 15 April 1970.
