Summary

Description 80-G-31610: North African Invasion, November 1942. French destroyer Milan beached off Casablanca, Morocco on 16 November 1942. She had been badly damaged during the Battle of Casablanca on 8 November, and has her forward superstructure largely burned out. Official U.S. Navy Photograph, now in the collections of the National Archives.
