Description 80-G-205263: Attack on German submarine U-642, lat 39, 17N, long 13W, pilot Captain Jarnagin, Second Air Squadron, incident #3682, July 10, 1943. The U-boat was finally sunk on July 5, 1944 near Toulon, France, by U.S. bombs. (7/14/2015).
