| Description | 330-PS-6519 (USN 630975): USS T-1, bow view 45 degrees, October 12, 1953. Photographed by Electric Boat Division, General Dynamics Corp, Groton, Connecticut. Master Caption: Small in size but large in responsibility, the Navy’s USS T-1 will act as a target for anti-submarine forces. Only 131 feet long and 250 tons as compared to the 1500 tons of conventional size sub, the T-1 carries the same general equipment as her sisters but carries a crew of sixteen. (4/7/2015). |
