English: On this day, 21 1400 March 2024, the NC212i with Tail Number 2119 landed at Brigadier General Benito N Ebuen Air Base. The Event was graced by the Commander of Air Mobility Command, MGEN JOANNIS LEONARDI B DIMAANO PAF, as the esteemed Guest of Honor and Speaker. The Event commenced with a Ceremonial pouring of Champagne on the Aircraft, followed by the Blessing Ceremony led by the Base Chaplain, MAJ RODI RICO D GREGANA PAF CHS.
The Aircraft underwent its scheduled Check “6C” Inspection after covering 3,600 Flying Hours and was ferried from the Repair Facility of PTDI in Bandung, Indonesia to the Philippines by the 220th Airlift Wing Ferry-In Crew, composed of the following members: - LTC RONEL L SALAS PAF (GSC) - MAJ DENNIS M ORILLO PAF - MAJ JOHN LORENZO M EGAR PAF - CPT NIEL PATRICK S SALUNGA PAF - 1LT RAY JOHN A CATALAN PAF - 1LT JULIUS IVAN L REGINO PAF - MSg Domingo A Langcay Jr PAF - TSg Rolan T Rubia PAF - TSg Philip A Madrazo PAF - Sgt John Jayson M Torres PAF The Arrival of the NC212i will bolster the Unit’s Cargo Airlift Fleet, enhance Operational Capability and strengthen the Unit’s Ability to conduct various Missions such as Disaster Relief Operations, Humanitarian Assistance and Maritime Air Patrol (MARPAT). |
