English: The origins of today's Logroño airport in Spain's La Rioja region is the military airfield "Agoncillo", it lies just outside Recajo village, a few kilometers east of the provincial capital. The new civilian terminal is located to the northeast of the military area. After first being used by the air force the control was later transferred to the army aviation.
