العربية: قلعة قيتباى ببرج رشيد بناها السلطان قايتباى سنة 886 هجرية، 1482 ميلادية و تعد نموذجاً ثانياً لقلعة قيتباى بالإسكندرية، وبنيت على شاطئ النيل لصد الهجوم بعد مروره من البحر الأبيض المتوسط وصولًا إلى القاهرة. / وهى قلعة مربعة الشكل ذات أربع أطباق رئيسية تشرف على القلعة من الداخل والخارج وأضاف إليها عدد من المداخل ذات فتحات ضيقة بحيث يتمكن الجندي الواقف ورائها من صد هجوم الأعداء بريًا وهذه الفتحات تسمح للجندي بمدى رؤية واسعة عكس المهاجم الذي لا يرى إلا الفتحة فقط فلا يستطيع التعامل بحرية وكفاءة مع القوات داخل القلعة. ويوجد داخل القلعة غرفة للقيادة ومساكن للضباط والجنود وأماكن للزخيرة، بالإضافة إلى وجود مسجد لإقامة الشعائر
